The Error of Sarah

The Error of Sarah was the throwing out of Hagar and Ishmael from the Jewish community. Since Abraham allowed this to happen, and "listened to the voice of his wife," he made the same error.

For most of her life, Sarah was barren. She told Abraham to have a child with his maidservant, Hagar. Ishmael was born and was Abraham's firstborn son. In Judaism, Ishmael is the Father of the Arabic nations, as Jacob (also named Israel), son of Isaac, is the Father of the Hebrews.

When Sarah, in her 90s, finally conceived Isaac, the presence of Ishmael threatened her.

From The Torah, Genesis 21:5-10

"And Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

Sarah said, "God has made laughter for me; whoever hears will laugh for me."

This is a very significant passage. Sarah says "Everyone who hears that I have had this miraculous child, will laugh with me." Sarah uses the verb "To Laugh", put into the future tense, "Shall laugh" and the name of Isaac in Hebrew, is this very same name "Yitzhak." The name of laughter for the miracle of his birth.

"And she said, "Who is the One Who said to Abraham, 'Sarah would nurse children'? For I have borne a son in his old age!"

The child grew and was weaned. Abraham made a great feast on the day Isaac was weaned.

Sarah saw the son of Hagar, the Egyptian, whom she had born to Abraham, mocking."

This passage is very interesting and very significant. Sarah saw Abraham's son, Ishmael, "mocking." Yet this is a mis-translation of the Hebrew. When you look at the verb "Miztahek" , it is the same verb as Yitzhak, meaning "to laugh", but it is in the third person present, because Ishmael is laughing. Ishmael did not mock, he laughed, just as Sarah had asked those who witnessed the miracle of Yithak's birth to laugh with her.

"So she said to Abraham, "Drive out this slavewoman with her son, for the son of that slavewoman shall not inherit with my son, with Isaac!""

Of course Sarah felt diminished all those years when she was barren. Even though she knew she had to allow Abraham to have Ishmael with Hagar, it hurt her that she couldn't be the mother to his children. When she finally did give birth to Isaac (Yitzhak), she felt better, but Ishmael was a reminder that she had been barren and not the sole mother to Abraham's children. She wanted to banish this from her midst so it would not remind her. She did so out of competition, and wanting to be special, unique, the only one. One might say it was also arrogance, because Hagar was just a slavewoman, insignificant. This error of separation and arrogance toward the Arabs is still being perpetuated amongst many Jewish people, that is why the Hebrew is mis-translated, because translating properly requires a very deep examination of this issue and error of the wondeful Matriarch Sarah.

The conflict between the Arabs and the Jews in the Middle East and elsewhere in the world is a final healing of this ancient rift and issue between the two peoples. In Israel, the Arabs are represented by the Palestinians.

It is one of the weakest points of the Arabic people to be treated without respect and many often become irrationally upset when they are treated without respect. Some have chosen violence to express their anger. This is seen more commonly in Muslims because Islam has a more welcoming view on violence than Christianity. Since the Jewish people often treat the Arabic people without respect, the Arabs desire to destroy the Jews, as a means of retribution for the ancient pattern of exclusion and belittling that has occurred. Violence is not an acceptable response and the Arabic people must also look within themselves to understand why being treated without respect is such a sensitive issue for them. The Arabic people must also stop teaching hatred to their children and be honest about the events in the Middle East, depicting with utmost integrity and honesty what is really happening.

This is also a "chicken and the egg phenomenon," which is one of the reasons why it is such a difficult conflict to resolve. Because, from the Jewish perspective, the Arabs threaten the Jewish existence and behave like animals, having no value for human life. This is the most sensitive issue for the Jews: feeling threatened in one's home and existence. This makes the Jewish people fear the Arabs, separate themselves from the Arabs, and also look down at them. Then the Israelis treat the Arabs without respect, which further infuriates the Arabs, making them want to destroy the Jewish people. This can be an endless cycle of violence.

What is necessary at this point is to embrace the philosophy of the Fourth Letter. May Jews and Arabs look upon each other as brothers and sisters, forgive each other, forgive themselves, forget who started it, who did what, who hurt who more, and treat each other with respect and kindness.

"We wish you to know this: as it is here, it is also above. Therefore we now link with you in meditation: To bring about peace, balance, harmony, and removal of fear and hatred. For the Hoovids (Hebrews/Jews) to accept their true purpose. For the Jews not to have fear of loving again in joy and trust. And to remove the hatred of the Ishmaels. For the Ishmaels to forgive their journey in the desert, to forgive the Jews, to forgive Sarah and Abraham. That the Jews and Ishmaels may be true brothers." The Only Planet of Choice, p. 181

The Jewish people have a role, a purpose to fulfill, which the World really needs. This role will be carried out with all light workers and healers of the planet who are not Jewish, and who resonate with the deepest calling of the Jew and the purpose of the Jewish people; to heal the World - which is a Universal calling of the Heart.

Now, the Jewish people are not fulfilling this role as a people, being preoccupied with their fear of security and the survival of their people. This is a very deep fear. Once their fear is released, they will be more capable of loving their brothers and sisters of the nation of Ishmael, which will help dissipate the hatred within the Ishmaels. The Jewish people must take responsibility for releasing their fear, and the rest of the world can really help the Jewish people heal by not taking sides against them, and by helping them feel welcome, loved, and accepted in the rest of the world.

As people of our World recognize the truth about what the heart of Jewish is capable of, and how important it is that they activate their true natures at this time, it will really help the Jews fulfill their destiny and purpose for being created, which they have held onto for thousands of years and yet never fully accomplished. That potential energy of the Jewish people, which has been bottled up, once released, will release the whole planet, as it is a strong and ancient force that confines the growth of our world into the AllGood of the return to Eden and Universal Utopia. On the other side of the release is the true nature of the Jewish people, the heart of the Second Letter, and the Fourth Circle.

"Those of the nation of Israel came to Planet Earth many thousands of your years ago. They came to evolve your planet Earth, and in their genetics they know their choosing, and they relate closely to the Creator, for the memory is coming from their innermost. But what this actually means is that they have a great responsibility, for they have an ability to elevate Planet Earth into a collective consciousness that may bring all people into their proper places, so that Planet Earth may then fulfill unity in the Universe. They are a people that have great energies, that have great ability in their genetics. The nation of Israel has within it powers that can release in humankind all that is buried, all that may be brought forth into Light." The Only Planet of Choice, p. 175, 176
